Is Plastic Surgery Addictive?

Another slightly controversial subject ... do you think that Plastic Surgery can be addictive?

I do! I have had to have a huge amount of reconstructive facial surgery not plastic surgery in the true meaning of the words, however I have learnt that many people once they have had a taste of a difference (for the better) in their looks simply want more! Human nature? It can be the case when we see a result that has not had much effect too and we want to keep thriving to gain what we see as perfection. What IS perfection anyway? Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox, George Clooney etc? Beauty mostly comes from the inside, although it takes many of us a lifetime to realise this!

IF someone is having cosmetic plastic surgery to improve breast shape and size, rhinoplasty, botox and fillers in lips and face amongst many other procedures it may be for a legitimate reason, but I do feel that as plastic surgery is so accessible these days it can become addictive, like having a spray tan or a leg wax!

I feel that  people should firstly seek the right advice which is crucial when considering cosmetic or reconstructive plastic surgery and I would always suggest contacting  http://www.baaps.org.uk/ in the first instance  to find a reputable surgeon and trustworthy advice.

I am very fortunate to have found some amazing surgeons in London at The Chelsea & Westminster Hospital that I would trust implicitly if I ever needed advice on this type of surgery in the future!

Tread carefully and never forget to first of all make sure you feel beautiful on the inside ....
With love
