Troubled Souls

I was so sad to hear the news yesterday about the untimely death of the very talented singer Amy Winehouse. She will be remembered not only for her incredible voice which will go down in history but sadly her dependency on drugs and alchohol to cope with her challenges in life. She was a troubled soul and my thoughts go out to her family today in the aftermath of the media frenzy that surrounds this tragic loss of life.

Many people turn to drugs, alchohol and other methods of coping when life deals us what appears to be unjust situations that we simply arent sure how to handle. It takes an incredibly self assured and resilient person to keep fighting which can seem impossible at times to be that person, however I often say if we 'believe' in ourselves and our abilities and have faith that things will take us on the right path it can sometimes pull us through.

I am sorry that Amy Winehouse's life has been cut so short and the UK and the world has lost an incredible voice that will be remembered forever. I hope that it once again flags up that when we feel that we are struggling to cope that we need to ask for help, try and surround ourselves with love and support and keep fighting for what we believe in.
