The more I talk to people the more I realise that we are all carrying around so much emotional baggage it's incredible!
If you are true to yourself, what emotions do you think YOU may be afraid to unblock just in case they come flooding out with such force that you feel you may be unable to control them? I can identify with this myself having held in such a lot of emotion for so many years after suffering a horrific accident that dramatically changed my life. There were a whole host of emotions ranging from fear, anger, resentment, abandonment as well as feelings of huge loss and feeling isolated and alone. Is it better to release these emotions or hold them in? It's your call but my personal opinion is to release them but ONLY when the time is right for YOU! This is so vitally important. If you are not ready these emotions may burrow deeper and delay coming to the surface.
Look for a method of release that suits you too, it may be CBT, Acupuncture, Bowen Technique or one of many other alternative therapies available and accessible to us these days. I urge you to let go of any old emotion as it simply holds NO purpose in your life right now, it just blocks up our bodies and minds - clear it and make space for some happy and positive emotions to creep in!Love Shari x
